PROVEN CRIMINAL ACTION OF SPREADING HOAX NEWS THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA REGARDING COVID-19

<span class="fontstyle0">The spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Indonesia, is used by irresponsible people to fake news (hoaxes) that can disturb the public. The ITE Law it has regulated crime hoaxes, perpetrators be subject criminal sanctions, however, sanctions do not prevent from spreading false through social media, many cases occur community regarding these crimes, but problems arise proving hoax case, where as basis for convicting perpetrator using Article 14 no. 1 1946, namely conventionally without any element electronic means, this because Criminal Procedure Code does regulate digital evidence.</span> <br /><br />
